Farouk is a seasoned partner with over 22 years of professional experience, most of it gained through senior roles with Big 4 professional services firms across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Pakistan. He has worked extensively with a diverse portfolio of clients, including multinational corporations, family-owned businesses, high-growth companies, and government-related entities.
Farouk brings deep expertise in building, scaling, and managing accounting and advisory practices, supported by strong leadership, commercial judgment, and technical rigor. He is known for his practical and solution-oriented approach, helping clients navigate complex financial, regulatory, and transaction-related matters with clarity and confidence.
His industry experience spans technology, real estate, entertainment, hospitality, retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and sovereign wealth fund–backed entities, giving him a broad and nuanced understanding of different business models and risk profiles.
Since co-founding HarAik in 2020, Farouk has played a key role in supporting corporates and professional services firms across the GCC and beyond. The firm has advised clients on complex accounting and IFRS matters, assisted in designing and strengthening governance and control frameworks, and supported audit and consulting firms with compliance and implementation of International Quality Management Standards (ISQM 1 & 2). This work reflects HarAik’s commitment to delivering high-quality, practical solutions aligned with global standards and local regulatory expectations.

Arsalan is a seasoned partner with over 20 years of professional experience, most of it gained through senior roles at Big 4 firms in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He has served as a trusted advisor to financial institutions, family-owned businesses, and publicly listed companies, leading a wide range of audit and business advisory engagements. Known for his balanced and pragmatic approach to risk management, Arsalan has a strong ability to understand client perspectives and deliver solutions aligned with regulatory requirements and market realities. He is a Chartered Accountant (Pakistan) and a Certified Public Accountant (UK), with core expertise in financial reporting, IFRS advisory, audit support, and technical accounting.
Salman is a highly driven and accomplished professional with over 22 years of experience across audit, financial reporting, and advisory roles. He began his career with Big Four firms in the Middle East and later served as Head of Financial Reporting at a major multinational organization in Saudi Arabia. Salman is known for building strong relationships with stakeholders, mentoring emerging talent, and developing high-performing teams. He brings practical, solution-oriented insights to complex organizational challenges. Salman is a member of ACCA UK, with core expertise in financial due diligence, accounting advisory, and finance transformation.
Abubakar has over 15 years of professional experience working with a diverse client base across Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. His work has largely focused on the financial services sector, asset management, infrastructure, and manufacturing, where he has supported clients on complex accounting, audit, and compliance matters. He brings strong expertise in IFRS, auditing standards, financial accounting, investment appraisal, and business process improvement. Abubakar is a Chartered Accountant (Pakistan), with specialist expertise in valuations, ISQM 1 and ISQM 2 implementation, and IFRS accounting and advisory.
Shahrukh has 15 years of experience in financial advisory services, supporting clients across a wide range of industries including real estate, entertainment, food, education, power, and personal health. He has led governance and risk assessments, developed financial models and dashboards, and helped founders, investors, and financial institutions make informed decisions through clear and relevant financial insights. Shahrukh also brings extensive internal audit experience. He is a Chartered Accountant (Pakistan) finalist and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, with expertise in governance, risk and compliance, digital transformation and restructuring, financial feasibility and business planning, financial modelling, and due diligence.
Hina has over 15 years of professional experience with international firms, delivering advisory, audit, and assurance services across a broad range of sectors. She brings deep internal audit expertise, with a strong focus on planning, execution, reporting, and strengthening internal controls while identifying opportunities for process and efficiency improvements. Hina is a Chartered Accountant (Pakistan) and a CFA Level II candidate, currently a PhD scholar, and holds an MS in Banking & Finance and a Master’s degree in Commerce. Her core expertise includes taxation and regulatory compliance, valuations, IFRS and financial reporting, risk management and internal control, and business process improvement.
Asma is an accomplished HR professional with over 30 years of experience in building corporate infrastructure and transforming organizational culture while ensuring legal compliance. She has led HR functions in large manufacturing organizations, driving strategies in staffing, talent management, engagement, compensation, learning & development, and corporate communications. She has established HR policies, processes, performance management systems, and managed union initiatives, streamlining leadership development, reward programs, and employee engagement across all departments. She holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Punjab (Lahore), and a Diploma in Public Administration from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Her expertise includes HR strategy and planning, organizational development, talent acquisition and engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, industrial relations, and legal compliance.
Imran is an experienced technology risk and resilience specialist with 18 years of experience across diverse industries and sectors in the Middle East region, having worked with two Big 4 firms. He leads a successful IT practice delivering customized IT consulting and learning solutions, frequently working with senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor to bridge the gap between business leaders and their operational and technology teams. He has extensive experience in technology audits, consulting, risk management, quality assurance for IT implementation projects, cyber security reviews, strategy development, policy and procedure design, awareness campaigns, risk assessments, enterprise risk management, and business continuity program management. Imran is a doctoral student and a Gold Member of ISACA (CISA, CISM), with expertise spanning technology audits, IT consulting, cyber security, risk management, policy development, enterprise risk management, and business continuity program management.
Suleman Khan is a seasoned legal professional specializing in business advisory, commercial, employment, property, contractual negotiation, drafting, and related litigation. He has a strong interest in alternative dispute resolution, particularly mediation and arbitration in commercial and family matters, and actively studies national and international legal and policy issues to develop practical solutions, strategies, and improvements to Pakistan’s legal framework. He was admitted as a Barrister of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2005 and holds a Masters in International Business Law from the London School of Economics (LSE). His expertise includes legal advice and representation, drafting and reviewing contracts, drafting pleadings and constitutional petitions, regulatory guidance, representation before legal forums, negotiation, mediation and arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, and legal policy analysis.
